Solving 2x + 6 = 3x - 8, what is the move that will result in 2x = 3x - 14?

6 from 2x+6=3x-8 goes to right side and becomes -6 so -6+(-8)= -14

Explanation:

2x+6=3x-8

2x=3x-8-6

2x=3x-14

2x-3x=-14

-x=-14
