Hello!

\large\boxed{Slope = -(1)/(3)}

x + 3y = 2

Rewritten into slope form: y = mx + b

Find the slope when rewritten:

Move x to the right hand side of the equation. (Subtract)

x - x + 3y = 2 - x

3y = 2 - x

Divide both sides by 3:

y = 2/3 - 1/3x

Rearrange:

y = -1/3x + 2/3.

The slope is equivalent to -1/3.
