I think the school is located at (0,4).

I graphed the equation in my graphing calculator and it came up with a kind of v shaped graph. If you look at the question and see that we first house to school, that would probably mean from the left side of the graph to the center (0,4). Then we go from school to friend's house, so it must be from the center to the right side of the graph. Therefore, the school must be the y intercept (0,4) as that is the center of the graph.
