Why are ecosystems with grass better for herbivores than ecosystems with
trees?

Some herbivores can't climb trees, so grass is convenient. Grass also produces oxygen at a far greater rate than trees do

Why are ecosystems with grass better for herbivores than ecosystems with trees?

Trees cannot store a lot of energy in the leaves, so grass would be better.
