The Executive Branch refers to the branch of government charged with the execution and enforcement of laws and policies and the administration of public affairs; the executive. The executive branch includes the President, Vice President, the Cabinet, executive departments, independent agencies, and other boards, commissions, and committees. Because the President is the Chief Administrator of the executive branch, he has the right to appoint court of appeals judges or federal judges. This also includes District Court Judges and Supreme Court Justices.
