Complementary angles are pair angles with the sum of 90 degrees. We have Two complementary angles are in the ratio 3:7:

α = 3k

β = 7k

Then:

3k + 7k = 90°

10k = 90

k = 90/10

k = 9

The bigger angle is:

β = 7(9) = 63°

Two Angles are Supplementary when they add up to 180 degrees. Then the supplementary angle for β is:

x = 180 - 63°

x = 117° → ANSWER
