Given that,

The cone and the sphere have the same volume.

Volume of the cone

$= (1)/(3)\pi {r}^(2) h$

= (1)/(3) * (22)/(7) * 2.4 * 2.4 * 8.3

= 1 * (22)/(7) * 0.8 * 2.4 * 8.3

= (22)/(7) * 1.92 * 8.3

= (22)/(7) * 15.93

= 22 * 2.27

= 49.94

$= 50 {cm}^(3) (rounded)$

Also,

Volume of the sphere

= 50cm³

$= (4)/(3) \pi {r}^(2) = 50$

$\pi {r}^(2) = 50 * (3)/(4)$

$\pi {r}^(2) = 37.5$
