Answer:

Certian molecules in the scorpians cuticle are what glow. The exoskeleton absorbs the longer wavelengths of the uv light and emit the light in blue-green wavelengths which makes it glow.

This glow helps protect scorpians from sunlight, and helps them find each other.

Answer:

Well, something in the scorpions' exoskeleton causes them to glow. The fluorescence makes their bodies more sensitive to light, so it's easier to find a shady hiding spot to survive in.
