A produce store sells 3 bags of red apples and 6 bags of green apples. Each bag contains a dozen, or 12, apples.

How many apples does the store sell in all?

6 bags of green apples

12 apples per bag

3 x 12 = 36 red apples

6 x 12 = 72 apples

36 + 72 = 108 apples in all.
