Cathy's teacher assigned a five-minute speech on any topic that is relevant to all students at the school.

One topic that I feel would meet the requirements essentially would be the topic of “Bullying.” Why? Well, bullying would be a good topic of discussion for a speech that is relevant to all students at the school because it takes place in various places and various forms. People deal with bullying a lot, regardless of their age, and it is more likely to occur as generations go on and on. Bullying would also be a good topic of discussion for all students at the school because some of the attendees of the speech may very well be bullies themselves. There is a lot to learn about bullying, what to do to prevent it, and how to stop it if it is not prevented. I feel like bullying best meets the requirements and should be taught as a universal lesson for students to understand. That way, bullying can be suppressed and students will no longer live in fear or trauma of any negative social encounters.
