In my opinion the best way to resolve problem was to sit around the same table and to discuss the main issue. In my opinion what Britain had to do was to allow colonists to have their representatives in the Parliament, and to change certain imposed acts. The taxes that Britain imposed were too harsh, and it was impossible for the colonists to accept them.

British government obviously didn't had enough understanding about the needs of colonists. Therefore, without certain changes in their system it was impossible to prevent conflicts in the colonies. Britain was guilty for war without a doubt.
