Explanation:

-4+5x-7=10+3x-2x

Combine like terms:

-10+5x=10+x

Subtract 10 on both sides:

-10-10+5x=10-10+x

-20+5x=x

Subtract 5x on both sides:

-20+5x-5x=x-5x

-20=-4x

Divide -4 on both sides:

-20/-4=-4x/-4

5=x
