Write a linear equation that passes throughthe point (2, -9) and has a slope of -5 in slope-intercept form. Help pls

plug the x and y in the slop intercept form (y=mx+b) so it becomes -9= -5(2)+b solve for b. b=1 so the answer is y= -5x+1
