the rate of change is 4.

Explanation:

It is 4 because to find the rate of change you need to see how many pieces of corn (y) there are for every serving (x). If you see if you plug in the number three in between 2 and 4 for the servings and you follow the pattern of the table you will get 12. Then you subtract 8 from 12 and you get 4.

so basically the rate of change is the difference in corn for every serving.
