Two students are studying for a Science Test. On the table they had a glass of water and identical cell phones (Cell Phone A & Cell Phone B). Both of their phones had run out of battery, therefore they were both charging in the same wall outlet. Cell Phone A had a charging cord that was 3ft & Cell Phone B had a charging cord that was 9ft. Cell phone B, which was closest to the glass, vibrated while ringing and knocked over the half-full glass of water. *

click here - just because we needed to make a question to post the scenario.
Part A: Identify the energy transformations that occur from the outlet charger to the ringing phone. *
Chemical energy transformations take place from the outlet charger to the ringing phone.
Part B: Explain how the Law of Conservation of Energy applies to the energy transformations that occur from the outlet charger to the ringing phone. *

This is a required question
Part C: Explain what we would see if the pencil is placed in the glass of water. What is causing the pencil to look this way? *
Part D: Predict which of the phones charged the fastest using Ohm’s Law. Justify your theory using Ohm’s Law. *

This is a required question
Part E: Argue that the amount of water in the glass affects whether it fell over or not. The glass that fell over on the student’s table was only half full. Answer using 1st & 2nd Law of Motion to support your claim. *
