13. Gasoline costs $2.50 per gallon. If you have $30 in your wallet, do you

have enough to buy 15 gallons of gas? Write an equation and prove your

Explanation:

You have $30

Gas is $2.50

You need 15 gallons.

So to show how much you need for gas you would write this equation:

30= 2.5x

To solve:

30/2.5 = 2.5x/2.5

12 = x

x is the amount of gallons you will recieve.
