slope is m = ( y2-y1) / (x2-x1)

slope of BC = 5-3 /6-1 = 2/5

slope of AD = 1 +1 / 7-2 = 2/5

3 and 4

use the distance formula d= √(x2-x1)² +(y2-y1)²

BC = √( 6-1)²+(5-3)² = √5²+2²= √29

AD = √(7-2)²+(1+1)² = √5²+2² = √29

since BC and AD have the same slope then they are parallel

since BC and AD are same length the segments are ≅

so ABCD is a rectangle
