A lot of factors play into why it emerged to be the strongest economy. It’s industry was virtually untouched due to the United States being on its own “island” away from its to enemy’s. Many countries desperately needed guns,supplies,food, etc and the United States was the only one that could provide these demands. These demands brought employment up for Americans and these demands were payed off after world war 2 from the US Allie’s which made the US a wealthy nation. The nations destroyed from the world now relied on the United States which made the US the backbone of the worlds economy
