No military zone. Buffer zone, no man’s land. Demilitarized zone.

It’s a no military zone implemented by the United Nations. Turkish and Greek military are prohibited to pass the no military zone. It was implemented to stop the ongoing war in Cyprus, this zone splits Cyprus horizontally in half
