sandwich is "two or more slices of bread or a split roll having a filling in between." By that definition, hot dogs seem to qualify as sandwiches. ... "A hot dog is not a sandwich," he said.

Well considering it is “sandwiched” between two pieces of bread I would say yes. Although it is weird to think about
