The field is 300 m long and 200 m wide.
(a) Calculate the perimeter of the field.

The farmer is buying fence panels.
He needs a total length of 200 m of fence panels.
Each fence panel is 2.5 m in length.
(b) Work out how many fence panels the farmer will need to buy.

Explanation:

(a) perimeter = 300+300= 600

200+200= + 400

=1000m

1km = 1000m

1panel = 2.5 m 1× 200÷2.5 = 80

=200m
