What is (f–g)(x)?
f(x)= –3x2
g(x)= –3x2+9x

To find (f-g)(x), subtract g(x) from f(x):

f(x) = -3x²

g(x) = -3x² + 9x

(f-g)(x) = -3x² - (-3x² + 9x)

Distribute the negative sign:

(f-g)(x) = -3x² + 3x² - 9x

(f-g)(x) = -9x
