Work out the probability of getting a total that is a factor of 6.

Explanation:

In order to get a total of 2 if you roll 2 dice, you have to roll two ones. (You can't roll a 0 and 2 because an average die does not have a zero on it)

You have a 1/6 chance to roll a 1 on the first die; and you have a 1/6 chance to roll a one on the second die.

To find the probability of this happening together you have to multiply them together.

1/6 * 1/6 = 1/36 = 0.0277778 ≈ 0.028
