What is the reason for finding fossils of sea creatures at the tops of the Rocky Mountains?

ANSWER: because the mountains were once under the sea.

Explanation: and as the mountains/ land started getting taller the sea creatures were dying and decomposing on land that's why they find fossils on mountains /land.
