Explanation:

The y-intercept is (0,-2). This means that in y-mx+b, b is going to by -2. We know the slop is 3 because if I choose 2 points and move ONE unit to the right, it is increasing by 3. Also, you can do y1-y2/x1-x2, or y2-y1/x2-x1.
