One year after you buy a tree, it is 8 feet tall. Each year after you buy the tree, it grows 2.25 feet. Write a function that represents the

arithmetic sequence. How long does it take for the tree to reach its maximum height of 35 feet?

Answer: 8 + 2.25x = 35

Step-by-step explanation: When you bought the tree it was already 8 feet tall. each year you have it, which is what x represents after putting 2.25 in front of x. it would somehow equal 35. 1st year 2.25 2nd year 4.5 3rd year 6.75 4th year 9 so on and so forth.
