Answer: 12.3 cm

Explanation:

The scale used measures every 20 kilometres as 3 centimetres and the river is 82 kilometres.

If 3 centimetres is 20 kilometres, 82 kilometres is;

3 : 20

x : 82

20x = 3 * 82

20x = 246

x = 246/20

x = 12.3 cm
