Answer:

The height of the 7th bounce of the ball is 0.90 feet.

Explanation:

Given that he successive bounce is 70% of the previous bounce's height, the;

the first bounce height = 7.25 feet

the 2nd bounce height = 7.25 x 0.7

= 5.075 feet

the 3rd bounce = 5.075 x 0.7

= 3.5525 feet

the 4th bounce = 3.5525 x 0.7

= 2.48675 feet

the 5th bounce = 2.48675 x 0.7

= 1.740725 feet

the 6th bounce = 1.740725 x 0.7

= 1.2185075 feet

the 7th bounce = 0.85295525 feet

Thus, the height of the 7th bounce of the ball is 0.90 feet.
