Let y be the total amount of money Gilbert earns and x be the number of baskets filled. So, we get the relation


y=2.5x

Some points which satisfy the equation is


y=2.5* 1\\\Rightarrow y=2.5


(1,2.5)


y=2.5* 3\\\Rightarrow y=7.5


(3,7.5)


y=2.5* 5\\\Rightarrow y=12.5


(5,12.5)

His goal is to earn $360 so
y=360


360=2.5x\\\Rightarrow x=(360)/(2.5)\\\Rightarrow x=144

Hence, to earn $360 he must fill 144 baskets.

The algebraic relation is
