1. Jason and Sarah, acquaintances of yours, are hoping to get pregnant soon, but they are

really worried about whether they will be "good parents". Knowing you work in the
healthcare field, they have come to you for advice in understanding all they need to
know about being effective parents. You know that neither Jason or Sarah had a
particularly good family situation growing up; both are estranged from their families
and are therefore worried they might repeat the family cycle of abuse and neglect.
What advice would you give to them? You suggest that you all meet at the local coffee
shop to discuss what children will need in terms of their physical and cognitive
development so they can achieve optimal development and thrive.

2. Sarah and Jason were so grateful for your knowledge and expertise about parenting.
Since you met, they have been reading a lot of materials about being effective parents
and they asked you to join them for coffee again. They have learned that there is so
much more to parenting than they originally thought. They want to be the best
parents they can be and so again, seek your knowledge about the socioemotional and
moral development required for optimal development of any children they may have.
PLEASE HELPPP ASAPPP

You should tell them that if they think that they are ready for a child to go for it, keep reading the materials, and if they start to go into an abussive cycle to talk to you again.
