Impacts of climate change on Himalayas mountains in points:

  • Unpredictable weather conditions (since more ice will be melting it may change the atmospheric conditions and so changes like those can cause even more weather conditions.-)
  • Increase in temperatures (The Himalayas keep the temperatures low but since the climate change is going to be affecting it by melting its ice then it will increase temperatures.)
  • Changing rainfall patterns (It's expectable that it may rain a lot because so much evaporation may occur due to the melted ice that turned into water.)
  • Impacting Wildlife (There are also some animals that depend on it such as snow leopards or American black bears so if it melts they may be losing their habitats and have to find another habitat which may be hard unless they can adapt to changes easily.)
