Answer: 1/2bh, 400 cm^2
Explanation:
Base (b) = 20 cm
Height (h) = 40 cm
Area (A) = 1/2 * b * h = 1/2bh
Therefore,
= 1/2 * b * h
= 1/2 * 20 * 40
= 1 * 10 * 40
= 10 * 40
=> 400
Area = 400 cm^2
