Answer:

Y=6 and x=1

Explanation:

y=6x

∴y-6x=0

and 7x-8y=-41

Suppose,

-6x+y=0→(1)

and 7x-8y=-41→(2)

Taking equation (1), we have

-6x+y=0

⇒y=6x→(3)

Putting y=6x in equation (2), we get

7x-8y=-41

7x-8(6x)=-41

⇒7x-48x=-41

⇒-41x=-41

⇒x=1→(4)

Now, Putting x=1 in equation (3), we get

y=6x

⇒y=6(1)

⇒y=6

∴y=6 and x=1
