Answer:

y=2, x=1

Explanation:

3x-6y=12(x2)

5x-2y=10(x6)

Eliminate y

6x-12y=12

30x-12y=60

-24x =-48

divide both sides by -24

-24x/-24=-48/-24

y=2

to get our x

3x-6(2)=12

3x-12=12

3x=12+12

3x=24(divide both sides by 3)

x=1
