If a diploid cell contains 48 units of DNA in its nucleus at the beginning of mitosis, how many units will be present in the daughter cell at the end of mitosis?

A. 12
B. 24

B is the correct answer as the diploid cell actually has double its normal DNA at start or mitosis so afterwards when daughter cells have normal amount will be 24 I believe
