Why lim x to -3 (x^2) is 9 and not -9???? if when a negative odd number is squared the answer is negative? i don't understand factoring cases. here's the whole exercise lim x to -3 (x^2-2x+4)

\lim_(x \to -3) x^(2) -2x+4 = 19

Explanation:


(-3)^(2) - 2(-3) + 4 = 9 + 6 + 4 = 19

remember, when you multiply two negative number you obtain a positive result.
