1. The Legislative Branch has both the Senate and House of Representatives, which make the United States Congress.

2. The constitution allows Congress the sole power to declare war.

3. Laws are voted for, discussed, and written in the Legislative Branch.

4. It has the power to elect/name a president if there were to be a tie between the two.

5. The House of Representatives has 435 members (who were elected) that are divided between the 50 states, proportional to each state’s population.
