You could write this as 8X=9.6.
You would divide 8 from both sides, and then your answer would be 1.2.
1.2 times 8 equals 9.6.
If you meant to say 96 and not 9.6, then your answer would be 12.

you will have to multiply 1.2 to 8 to get the answer of 9.6
so the correct answer is 1.2
