Answer: Okay so... since this is supposed to be written in English, i can tell you the main points that would be fun to mention. (I am from Germany and hope that this will help you a bit)
- a food that you must try is Schnitzel. It is a typical German food and basically, it is a breaded pork chop usually served with a side of potatoes and peas.
- Soccer is probably the most famous sport you will find in Germany. You will see every age group play it...and it's really fun too. Join a game if you can :)
- Public transport in Germany is very well organized. It is easy to find your way around and lucky for you, there will always be translations into English. Don't be afraid to ask for help either. Nearly every other person knows conversational English as it is a mandatory second language there.
- Of course, the amount of people depend on where you are. But if you go in the city, you will see lots of Germans in a rush and if you go to see sights, you will most likely run into some American military people who were stationed there.
- Culture is VERY different. Germans are generally rather blunt and just approach a problem verbally at any convenient time. So don't be too offended if an older lady calls your belly too big. Germans don't know any better. In this case it is a joke and you just laugh along.
Explanation: I hope this helped. Feel free to somehow contact me (If it is possible on this website...) if you have any more questions about german grammar or culture. I know German is suuuper tough to learn. You can do it!
