A jar contains 125 marbles. Given 2% of the marbles are green, 62% of the marbles are blue, and the rest are red, how many marbles are in the jar?

Answer:

Red Marbles = 110

Explanation:

Green Marbles =125 × 6 /100 = 7.5

Blue Marbles = 125 × 6 100 = 7.5

Red Marbles = Total Number of Marbles -[Number of Green Marbles + Number of Blue Marbles]

Red Marbles = 125 −( 7.5 + 7.5 ) = 125 − 15 = 110

Red Marbles = 110
