PLEASE JUST ANSWER....

Which passage from the story of Hercules provides the best textual evidence for the following statement?

The labors of Hercules symbolize the resurrection of the human soul.

The gods all gave their assent
The gods themselves felt troubled at seeing the champion of the earth so brought to his end.
He who conquered all else is not to be conquered by those flames which you see blazing on Mount OEta.
I shall take him, dead to earth, to the heavenly shores…

passage two ("the gods gave their assent...") from the story of Hercules provides the best textual evidence for the statement.

the statement is "the labors of hercules symbolize the resurrection of the human soul". sentences that support this are:

"...at seeing the champion of the earth so brought to his end."

"i shall take him, dead to earth, to the heavenly shores."

the textual evidence from the text implicates that someone or something has died. this goes with the statement.
