Answer:

13 more students chose chocolate over vanilla, chocolate has two times more classmates who chose it over vanilla (2x).

Explanation:

If we add the percentages we get, 42 + 18 + 14 = 74. Meaning the remaining (Vanilla) is 26%. Which is half of the chocolate.

Yet it's 50 students so we divide our percentages by 2 and that's how many students per category chose that.

So 26/50 or 26 students chose chocolate and 13/50 or 13 students chose Vanilla.

13 more students chose chocolate over vanilla, chocolate has two times more classmates who chose it over vanilla.
