I need help!! Thx if answer :)

1.) A submarine is descending to examine the seafloor 2,100 feet below the surface. It takes the submarine 2 hours to make this descent. Write an equation to represent the relationship between the submarine's elevation and time. Use y to represent the elevation and x represents the hour.

2.) Another submarine's descent can be represented as y = -240x, where y is the elevation and x is time in hours. How long will it take this submarine to make the descent?

Answer:

-1050

Explanation:

descending means going down so 2100 is the big number and its negative to if you do -2100 divided by 2 then you will get -1050. I'm not sure about the second part. But good luck!
