9. Write an equation of a line with the given slope and y-intercept.

There are several ways of writing a line's equation; the easiest one is slope intercept form -

In the slope intercept form equation, "m" denotes "gradient" or "slope" and "c" denotes "y-intercept".

So to determine the equation we should just plugin the values (-5 for slope, m, and -7 for y-intercept).


\sf y=(-5)x+(-7)}

Simplify!


\sf y=-5x-7}
