PLZ HELP

Jonathan's age is one-third Belinda's age now. In 12 years, Belinda will be m years old.

a) Write an algebraic expression to represent Belinda's age now.

b) Write an algebraic expression to represent Jonathan's age 5 years from now.

c) If m = 36, what will Jonathan's age be 5 years from now?

d) Explain how you found the answers.

Answer:

A. J (Jonathan's age) = 1/3 M+0; I got this because he is 1/3 her age so 1/3 times her age is his age

B. J=1/3m+5; same as before but plus 5 years

C. he will be 17 because 36 times 1/3 is 12 then you add the 5 year

D. I put explanations with each one
