\sf{\qquad\qquad\huge\underline{{\sf Answer}}}

Rate of traveling is 10 mph, we have been asked to find how long the person will take to travel 1.25 miles.

By speed, distance and time formula :

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:d istance= speed * time

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:1.25 = 10 * t

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:t = (1.25)/(10)

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:t = 0.125 \: \: hours

or

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:t = 0.125 * 60

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:t = 7.5 \: \: minutes
