A crane does 244,292 J of work in raising a 1,248 kg load straight up. How high was the load lifted in meters?

I can't find anything online about getting distance from only having work and mass, even just a formula would help greatly.

Work done is potential energy here

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow PE=mgh

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 244292=1248(10)h

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 244292=12480h

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow h=19.6m

Answer:

We'll be using the formula here i.e.,

PE = mgh

  • PE = 244292
  • m = 1248
  • g = 10

Now, putting the values,

244292 = 1248(10) h

244292 = 12480h

h = 12480/244292

h = 19.6 m
