If you wish to find 3 decimals that are in between 2 other decimals, first select 2 decimals that have some distance between them (one being larger in value than the other).

The number of decimals found between them will depend on the magnitude of the difference between the initial 2 decimals.

You can then pick out 3 or more decimals between these 2 numbers.

THE EXAMPLE:

2.5 and 3.5

The difference between these two values is 1. Many decimals can be found within this single unit.

2.56 is a decimal, 3.2376 is another decimal, 3.001 is a decimal too.

All these decimals fall between 2.5 and 3.5 above.

You should find many more decimals just between these two numbers.

Once the value of the decimal is greater than 2.5 and less than 3.5, it falls within this range.

It could be a number in one decimal place, a number in two decimal places, a number in three decimal places, and so on.
