A fan starts from 5 rad/s and speeds up at a constant angular acceleration of 25 rad/s^2 for 5.0 seconds. What is the final angular velocity of the fan (in radians/second)​

ω = ω₀ + α t

where

ω = final angular velocity

ω₀ = initial angular velocity = 5 rad/s

α = angular acceleration = 25 rad/s²

t = time = 5.0 s

Solve for ω :

ω = 5 rad/s + (25 rad/s²) (5.0 s) = 130 rad/s
