True or False?: Is racism still prominent today?

Kind of, but I think it´s not as bad as people think. You see black people getting shot by cops on TV, but most people dont know what accutiualy happened. Its not because of the color of their skin, thats just what the media wants you to think. All of the people that were shot were shot because they had a weapon or were fighting with the cops and resisting arrest. Im not saying its right to take a life, but think about what you would do if you were in the cops position. You would most likely defend yourself. And also that is all they put on TV, Im sure lots of white people have been killed, but that does not matter to them, no one ever talks about that. Only black people. Yes, some people are racist, but I dont think its fair to call America racist, because I believe the majority of people are not.

Explanation: Racism is still very prominent today, sadly. People are still being discriminated against because of who they are. They are many people judging black people as criminals. Thus, any people in society have the prejuce that colored-skin people will rob you. Believe it or not, in my country, if a dark-skinned man approaches someone, that person will run away from their "robber". But I bet that if that person was white, they wouldn't. And this is really sad.
